Watching the map and feeds today, it seemed like a significant amount of chasers/spotters were left hanging in SW Kansas after following the SPC Outlook. While several scored sightings and observations in CO and TX/OK, most of those in Kansas didn’t get any action until way late in the day.
Tomorrow (or 5/10/15) looks like the “hotspots” are even further apart. So the question looms; will they go north or south? Personally, I’m thinking TX/OK will be the prime spot; but, you can’t discount the fact that the system pushing out of CO produced several tornadoes along with the late outbreak in NW Kansas. Thoughts?
