I know that most if not all storms move from West to East… But today I have storms down south moving West and storm up North moving East. I assume a Denver Cyclone may be in place.
I live in west central Florida and pretty much every single day from mid-June until the beginning of September we get storms moving from east to west giving us our typical afternoon thunderstorms, you can watch them march across the state from east to west on a near daily basis.
Here in Southern California, storms tend to move West to East. However we also get storms that move North from Mexico, then there are storms that move from North to South. The majority of storms that do not begin in the Pacific come from the North moving South.
